We always count it a great joy to work with youths because they are ever so enthusiastic. At Orchird Park Secondary School (OPSS), Ash Media Asia organised an inter-class sports carnival under Singapore Sports Council’s Sports Education Programme (SEP). Class representatives formed themselves into teams and took part in competitive captain’s ball, basketball and soccer matches.

Unlike typical sports events that largely revolved around events planning and management, this programme required a lot more on-ground facilitation and engaging of the students. Our team of professionals did just that – they went the extra mile to brief the students, teach them class cheers and even impart the knowledge of team spirit to them. It was a fruitful event where the students not only had a good time working out, but more importantly, strengthened their class bonds by playing together.

Like what we did for OPSS, Ash Media Asia is thrilled to continue working with schools to enrich young people through sports activities. Schools interested in SSC’s SEP can choose from a variety of programmes such as sports carnivals, workshops and inter-class leagues.
