Ash Media Asia once again organized the NTUC Link 3-on-3 Basketball competition in 2011, attracting more participants than ever before. Taking place over two days, the event was filled with fun activities including guest appearances by the Singapore Slingers, who took part in a series of competitions with and against the participants.
With a total of eight separate categories including two youth categories as well as an ‘open’ category and involving both genders, basketball enthusiasts from all over Singapore had the chance to show their stuff at the always wonderful *SCAPE Playspace. Union members under the umbrella of NTUC also took part in the competition in their own separate category, giving working adults more exposure to the game. Thus, the event saw an eclectic mix of competitors, from newcomers to the game to old pros who took the chance to strut their stuff.
