The Velocity B-Ball Battle 2011 was organised by Ash Media Asia, and featured the usual 3-on-3 competition, involving four separate age-based categories, and also an all-new corporate league, which took place over five weekends and involved the eager participation of several corporate entities and their employees. Given the chance to showcase their skills on the big stage at Velocity in Novena, the teams from each of the participating companies gave their best, and more importantly, enjoyed the additional exposure and competitive opportunities afforded them by the corporate league.
The competition was held in the innovative setting of a cage, which made for some fast-paced basketball and plenty of spills and thrills. In addition, an exciting slam dunk competition was also held, which provided all the participants and fans with more to cheer up, making the event a joy for all involved.
